[Palindrome] Warm-up "Mystery Hunt" *this* weekend

Here are some more details about the Microsoft Puzzle Hunt beta test
that Kray is coordinating at MIT this weekend. (If you are part of the
group led by Dick Plotz (Geneal), ask him for details about his session.)

I (Eric Albert) am going to try to make it, and I encourage other
members of the Palindrome team to join me. It should be fun, plus
it's a great way for old and new members to spend some puzzling time
together, so we know each other better when the "real" Hunt begins.

The plan is for my group is to start at 10 AM in room 2-290 (the MIT math
department common room) on Saturday. We'll continue there all day,
with possibly a break for dinner (probably ordering in). I expect to break
sometime Saturday evening, then continue as needed Sunday morning
and maybe early afternoon (although any diehards who want to solve
into the wee hours are welcome to do so).

I should emphasize that all details about the puzzles themselves
need to remain secret until the real staging of the event (February
10-11); I won't make anyone sign a nondisclosure agreement, just use
good judgment. Also, participating in the beta test precludes you from
going to Seattle and playing in the real event. (Duh.)

The constructors will be soliciting feedback about the event, and about
individual puzzles, afterward. Please let me know if you'd be
interesting in answering an email survey (which I'll send out shortly
after we finish) and/or being acknowledged as a test solver on the
official Puzzle Hunt web site.

Oh, and feel free to forward these details to anyone else who you can
rope into coming along. Although the Puzzle Hunt itself has team size
limits, for this test I need as many solvers as I can get (because many
people will not be staying the whole time).
