With the recent release of the Playstation 3 console, one important fact 
has gone relatively unreported: the magic wand controller (similar to the 
Wii's blandly-named Freestyle (and, seriously, Microsoft, maybe spread 
that branding money around a little bit more evenly)) is called the 
Sixaxis (after the three axes of spatial dimension and three axes of spin 
(Next, on MSNBC's Three Axes of Spin: Thomas Friedman, Charles 
Krauthammer, and Lou Dobbs fight to the death over U.S. policy towards 
Iran)).
