I think I'm wearing a sari.  They didn't specify what nationality of formal wear! It's beautiful, and I can't think of any other occasion I'd wear it in public except maybe for Purim! And it folds up nice and flat.  :-)

I'll bring a gown, the same one I wore when impersonating Jeanne Dixon at our Hunt of Horror.  Hopefully, I'll have a chance to wear it, since even if my plane arrives on time, I'll get to MIT in just barely enough time to set up my laptop and change into the dress.

I am guessing the formal wear might be an item on the "mandatory" scavenger hunt puzzle.  It's only fair, since they gave us advance notice.
