Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but the formal dress is only requested
(excuse me -- recommended) for the opening ceremonies in Lobby 7 on 
Friday. If
you're not arriving til Saturday, I don't think there's any need for 
formalwear
unless that's what you'd choose to wear anyway.
