A very sad development is news from this weekend, that former Tufts Research Scientist
Tomas Kafka
is unlikely to survive his most recent hospitalization. Tomas was a mainstay for Tufts neutrino physics
for decades as a participant in neutrino experiments with the 15-ft bubble chamber at FNAL, followed by
Soudan II, DONUT, and MINERvA.
