Dear Tuftons, Two speaking requests came in after the initial announcement of this Friday’s Tufts Neutrinos meeting: Josh Queen is a PhD student from Duke who is visiting with Taritree this week. He is here at Tufts To develop plans for building a muon veto for the new (bigger) COHERENT liquid argon detector. Josh will present his ideas in a 15-20 minute Talk following the review of the PRD report on Olson’s thesis. Cullen Sullivan also has a new presentation however he has kindly agreed to be the first speaker at our next Friday meeting. --- |
