A message from Professor Schneps:

Mayly Sanchez graduated from Tufts with a Ph.D. In high energy physics in 
2003. She's now an Assistant Professor at Iowa state University, and just 
last week she was recipient of a Presidential Early Career Award.
 
"President Obama today named 96 researchers as recipients of the 
Presidential Early Career Awards for Scientists and Engineers, the highest 
honor bestowed by the United States Government on science and engineering 
professionals in the early stages of their independent research careers."
