Effective this coming Fall, the Math department is adopting new numbers for most if not all of their undergraduate courses. So all of our old friends, like Math 13 and Math 38, or going to change. We will be working to change all the necessary
references in the Bulletin, in our Course Descriptions, and on our website, handbook, etc. But you will need to make any changes in syllabi of courses you teach, and you’ll need to be aware of the new numbering as you advise students. Of course, for the next few years there will be students who took courses under both numbering systems. Fortunately none of the new numbers correspond to courses under the old numbering system.
