School Open House
September 12
Mark your
calendars now for the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine's annual Open
House on Saturday, September 12, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Come see
everything the veterinary school has to offer at this free event. See the
canine demonstrations, raptors, farm animals, the Teddy Bear Clinic and enjoy
the hay ride. All ages are welcome, rain or shine.

Boston Faculty and Staff
New Cards for Copying and Printing at Tufts Libraries
As of Wednesday, August 19, 2009, the Tufts University
libraries will be updating the print/copy system. As part of the process, new
print/copy cards will be issued and the current cards that read "Conway
Office Products" will no longer work.

On
Wednesday September 2nd, 2009 the Class of 2013 will be arriving. The following
parking and traffic changes will be in effect on matriculation day:
NO PARKING ON THE RESIDENTIAL QUAD, BEHIND CARMICHAEL HALL, THE SIDE OF
CARMICHAEL FACING FLETCHER LOT, OR IN FRONT OF METCALF, RICHARDSON OR HODGDON
HALLS.
THE MILLER HALL ROADWAY TRAFFIC WILL RUN FROM PACKARD AVE. TOWARDS CARMICHAEL
FOR THE ENTIRE DAY (reversed one-way traffic).
ACCESS TO CARMICHAEL REAR FROM WINTHROP/CURTIS STREET
WILL BE LIMITED TO INCOMING RESIDENTS ONLY FROM 7:00 AM TO 12:00 NOON.
PACKARD AVE.
WILL REMAIN ONE WAY
ONLY FROM PROFESSORS ROW TO WEST HALL UNTIL 12:00 NOON. VEHICLES EXITING NORTH HILL ROAD OR
THE LOTS BEHIND BENDETSON HALL WILL BE ROUTED DOWN CAPEN STREET EXTENSION TO WINTHROP STREET.
LATIN WAY AND LOWER CAMPUS ROAD WILL BE ONE-WAY FROM TALBOT AVE. TO COHEN
PARKING LOT FROM 7:00 AM TO 12:00 NOON.
The overnight parking ban on campus roadways will be strictly enforced by the
Tufts Police. Vehicles left in the above outlined critical areas after 12
midnight will be subject to towing at the owner’s expense.
In an effort to ease traffic congestion Staff and Faculty are urged to use the
Cousins parking lot or Fletcher Field on Wednesday, September 2nd in lieu of
the Parking Garage or staff lots on the upper campus. A shuttle bus will loop
the campus from 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM.
Departments should consider the extraordinary traffic and parking situation of
Matriculation day when scheduling appointments, deliveries, or visits to
campus.

assistance in welcoming the Class of 2013 to campus is very much appreciated.
