(ET) Leaf vacuum time

Took the leaf vacuum out for a spin today; I'm mulching the main yard leaves this year and running the E20 forwards then backward over leaves seems to result in a lot of little leaf bits. We shall see next year.

However the areas around the house have tons of leaves that need to be moved. So I hooked up the rebuilt leaf vacuum, put the huge back in the repaired and rusty elec-trak trailer, and am using the 4 inch hose to suck up the piles of leaves I have been raking.

Good news: Works! I don't have the contactor assembled yet so the 50a AMP connectors are taking a heck of a beating. And I'm worried that the 100a fuse on the rear take off is too big in the case the impeller jams (it bogged down once). But overall it seems to be running well and now I have a several hundred gallon bag of leaves in the trailer to dump on the mulch pile.

Next year I'll go back to vacuuming the leaves directly, but for a year I'll try mulching the hell out of everything.

Note: Leaf vacuum alone pulls a LOT of power. Tractor's now charging away merrily....
