Looks nice. Is this a one-off project you're trying to sell, or do you
plan or hope to make it a business?

I looked at the Craigslist ad. The weights themselves are actually160
pounds.
Seems about right. GE recommended 100 to 160 pounds for their ET weight
box. I used ~140 pounds. It worked pretty well in snow plowing with chains.

The price on Craigslist is $300.
The alternatives I know of are the GE weight box, or your own homemade
version of it, and wheel weights.
I've also heard of putting weights *inside* the tires. Maybe someone else
has experience with that.
The weight box has the advantage that you can put a LOT of weight in it,
whatever you think you need, up to a point - GE said you shouldn't go over
250 pounds.
With something like lead shot or old wheel balancing weights, you could
probably get to that and still have room left over for carrying tools and
parts.
Wheel weights put the weight right where it's needed, keep the center of
gravity low, don't stress the transaxle or wheel bearings, don't get in the
way of towing, and won't lighten the front end (though you want that with
some front attachments).
It's been a long time since I looked into them. I don't know how much
trouble or expense it would be to get ET sizes these days.
