(ET) GE charger quit working after using accessory port

I tried using the two prong accessory port to charge the batteries and
there was a short circuit. When I went to try the GE standard charger
that's in the machine it started vibrating really bad and I later
discovered no DC currents was coming out of it. Does anyone have any
experience with this type of situation?
