Whether the Facebook group is open or closed, you would still have to be
a member of Facebook to post to it.  I think it would be better for
everyone to use the email list or some web forum that is not part of
Facebook and that can be gatewayed to the email list.  Then everyone can
be part of the same conversation.

But maybe the people who I would need to reach on this subject are not
getting this email because they left this list and went to Facebook.
