(ET) Welding up a trailer and recommendations for a helmet

So I loaded up my Sears trailer with wood the other day, hit a bump while towing, and the trailer tongue bent almost 90 degrees. Bye bye trailer.

Except... I HAVE AN ELEC-TRAK WELDER!

Took off the tongue, pounded it back into shape, used some 1.5 inch angle iron on the inside to stiffen the side that ripped the metal, prepped it a bit, put on the welding helmet, and rolled out the Elec-trak welder.

On medium heat it worked well: Welded up the seam, then put a fairly crappy bead on the angle iron along the side. Looks a little bubbly, but good enough for a simple repair.

However I was thinking: I really do need to get myself a better welding helmet. Does anyone have any recommendations for a nice auto-darkening one so I don't have to weld in the sun all the time?

And I love the welder. The welds I did on the hulk E15 are still holding years later; I think I did a pretty good job there.
