I've found the newer brakes work very well. Howard sells both replacement friction and full pads. ------ Original message------ From: tb Date: Fri, Aug 14, 2015 10:56 PM To: et; Subject:(ET) brake pads Most of the info I could find in the archives on replacement brake pads is over a decade old. There was some talk of relining pads--which would allow you to greatly increase surface area. Did anyone ever do that?Or, anyone found other brake set-ups to completely replace the newer non-hockey puck calipers?Thanks.Thon_______________________________________________Elec-trak mailing listElec-trak cosmos phy.tufts.eduhttps://cosmos.phy.tufts.edu/mailman/listinfo/elec-trak |
