Remember it is series wound so a large contactor is needed to reverse it if used for a drive/traction motor. I don't believe that was a motor used on the GE machines, as it doesn't match any of the numbers Walt put out a while back. The tiller and snowblower motors were
2.5 HP at 3100 RPM and the larger drive motors were 1 HP and 1.2 HP at 2200 RPM for the E-15 and E-20, respectively. However, it is in the range of operation, so the pulley size could be varied to match the original ratio at that rated RPM.
