(ET) Selling my ET, accessories, parts, and manuals in northern Delaware 19707

I find myself headed toward divorce and have to sell the house.  Because I have no idea where I'll end up and am trying downsize I figured it's time to sell all my Elec-Trak stuff including my E15 which has served me faithfully for almost 20 years.

I've taken lots of pictures and posted them in a Photobucket album:  http://smg.photobucket.com/user/steven1955/library/Elec%20Trak%202014

I want to avoid eBay, and would prefer to sell everything as a lot, but regardless of what arrangements I make the tractor and my electric leaf sucker will not be sold until after this fall's grass mowing and leaf removal season is over. The timing on the other stuff is negotiable. If there is a specific item someone wants I might sell it separately. I do want to avoid shipping anything.

Below you'll find a partial list of the most notable items.

Let me know if any of you fellow ETers want any or all of my Elec-Trak stuff

Steve Naugler

1.  My E15, fully functional, with DEKA deep cycle batteries that are about 4 years old.  It has Bill Gunn's emergency disconnect, Bill Gunn's upgraded brake, Bill Gunn's high current rear PTO kit, and a Landis charger controller that probably needs to be tweaked for higher voltage.  I use a VDC Electronics 36 V battery maintainer for topping off the batteries.  This E15 uses the original controls with two minor modifications:  a.)  I soldered pigtail wires on to the control board to eliminate the failing edge board connectors, and b.) I added a relay in the control board circuit that allows operation of the traction motor at the higher motor speeds if the batteries are weak from age.  I rebuilt the traction motor with new brushes and bearings when I got the tractor, and it's just about time to inspect the motor brushes and bearings. Rear wheels have chains.

2.  A GE front mount deck with the small diameter motors that I rebuilt with new brushes and bearings when I got the tractor.  I have converted this deck to side discharge using the GE baffle kit because the grass and leaf sucker attachment must be to the side of the deck.  I would consider taking the motors apart to inspect the brushes and commutators for wear and replace the lower bearings.

3.  An electric leaf sucker.  What I currently have is a Trac-Vac cart that I tow behind the tractor, and a GE blower mounted to a wooden frame that bolts to the rear fenders of the tractor. A flex hose runs from the mower deck to the blower, and a second hose runs from the blower to the Trac-Vac trailer. Originally I had a GE attachment that used a small castered frame that attached to the tractor and could only articulate up and down. The frame supported fabric bag for collecting grass and/or leaves. I switched to the trailer idea when the bag rotted out. The old frame for the fabric bag and what remains of the fabric bag is included.

4. A snow blower used for two Delaware winters, with all the parts needed to mount and rotate the chute. Motor was rebuilt with new brushes and bearings.

5. A dozer blade with all the parts needed to steer the blade.

6. A weight box and the heavy utility bracket needed for mounting the snow blower and dozer blade. I will also include four solid concrete blocks, including one that was laboriously trimmed because the weight box is just a little too small to hold four full size blocks.

7. Eight various deck motors which need rebuilding.   I believe they all have good armatures and magnets.

8. One E15 traction motor that came off a running tractor. I recommend new bearings and brushes be fitted.

9. One E20 (actually Wheel Horse C185) traction motor that came off a running tractor. I recommend new bearings and brushes be fitted.

10. Three chargers, condition unknown.

11. Two transmissions, one still in a C185.

12. Two parts tractors, pretty rusty.

13. A metal dealer sign.

14. A dealer banner proclaiming 1972 to be the year of the Elec-Trak.

15. Various dealer manuals, a homeowners maintenance manual, and miscellaneous service bulletins and sales literature.
