Re: (ET) Auction 6/14 I-5 with forklift

Larry,

Those metallic pieces on the front are in fact part of the forklift frame. Instead of unbolting the entire assembly at the rear, they unbolted it from part of the mounting supports. Looks like it may be an early I-5 that was an E-20 conversion. It has the wide front wheels on it.

A friend sent a URL for an auction this coming Saturday (1June 14,
2014) at 2 South Main St, Russell, PA, just a bit south of Jamestown,
NY.

The auction ad mentions "GE I-5 with factory forklift"; the photo
show a not bad I-5 with some collection of metallic items on the
front (but clearly not a factory forklift),but the next photo *does*
show a forklift.  (And, no, I don't have the serial number!)

Here's the URL:

(Good luck with that!)  This is the "Weatherby Estate Auction".  The
auctioneer: (607)642-3293.
