Somewhere on the net is a doc i posted on how to repair the CMM1000. Basically that breaker is the weak link on that mower. It gets hot and fails, or trips on/off. The easiest and best way to repair it is to replace the breaker with a fusible link. A fusible link should be 2 sizes smaller then the main wire. I believe i used either a 12 or 14ga link. It worked perfectly, protects the motor, and costs a little more then $1.
