They make a big difference. With chains I can pretty much crawl up anicy hill pushing the snowblower.


How do you put them on? My way is:

Realize there is too much snow to not use them.
Jack tractor from the rear bracket, lifting both rear wheels
Drape chains over each tire
Secure the back hooks
Secure the front bolts and snug
Use rubber bungee cords in an X on each tire to tension

Then I leave them on till March. Haven't put them on yet this year sincewe only got a few inches.
