I have mine set up to shut down the controller with the key off.  I think 
that's what the diagram I got with the controller showed.  I don't think 
the 
list allows attachments, but I'll send you a copy of the schematic in a 
separate message.

I don't use the antirolling feature much.  That's what the brake is for.  
I 
don't much like the idea of current going into a stopped motor, nor am I 
keen on the use of battery energy for this purpose.

I don't know what the max voltage is, but Steve suggested that the 
on-charge 
peak voltage of a standard ET charger would (or at least might) be too 
high.

I cheated and just told myself I'd remember to open the main disconnect 
before charging.  In practice, over the years, I've accidentally left the 
disco closed maybe twice.  No harm resulted either time  However, I use 
gel 
batteries and charge to a lower voltage than most here (just under 43v).
