Technically, neither do you.
You have a snow thrower. Which is sometimes called a single stage. It consists of only a high speed auger which feeds the sow into it's center where it then throws it out of it's chute.
A snow blower has two stages, a slow speed auger that feeds snow into a high speed three vane "blower fan" that blows the snow out of it's chute.
