Well, they're DIEodes, aren't they?

Before I went to a PCM controller, I had a few die-odes do that too.  I 
suspect that they're underrated.  Maybe GE used 50v parts and should have 
used 200v parts.  

I dunno.  But it's great to be done with all that hassle and updated to 
the  
late 1990s rather than the 1970s, thanks to a modern controller.
