I don't know that I'd take this as a realistic valuation. It looks like a
couple of (relative) Ebay newbies got auction fever.
Look at the bidding history page. It appears that m***m (anybody else
miss
the days when you could actually indentify Ebay bidders?) placed a total
of
12 bids over a 4-day period, and y***n placed 7. All of them look like
manual bids. In some cases they seem to have been bidding against
themselves.
While you're at it, look at the photos. I'll grant you, the tractor's in
pretty darn good shape for its age. But it's certainly not pristine, and
it
includes no attachments. I think s***o, who bid $300, was probably quite a
bit closer to the actual value than the winning bidder was.
