Re: (ET) AC versus DC

First of all PLEASE trim your posts to include only what is needed for you

reply. I am on the Digest and had to wade through 3 Digests to get to a
few
short messages. The correct subject line would also be great.

For this message I hit reply, then deleted everything but what you see.
Thank You, Erv

When you get some time, why don't you put together a summary for us on
the benefits of AC versus DC.
I think the group would be interested in hearing what you have to say.

I hope this will be an a/c powered tractor! Being involved with
electric forklifts for nearly 15 years I'm very familiar with them and
know the benefits of a/c. E-mail me if you'd like any info.

Pete.

Dennis, Pete,

Years ago, in another life, I used to run an electric lift truck (36 V
DC).
I really liked that lift truck, although it was VERY heavy and a bit
clumsy at
times. And the fact I am on this List means I am still very interested in

battery power VS noisy engines.

I wasn't aware that there is an AC version of this available. I would like

to know more about this also.
