You COULD have gone 4 for 4. :( Think of it as a wonderful opportunity to spend some quality time with your traction motor. <G>And don't forget to check the tightness of the screw on the one brush holder. Loose screws have been known to cause brief but devastating meltdowns.

So this evening we finally have our *second* snow. For the first I had a
dead front tire. Jacked trac up, replaced tire.

Went out, tractor don't move. No speeds 1-4, almost nothing 5-8. Dead
field, no surprise.

Went under tractor in wet, slush with a flashlight. One of the four
wires that goes to the field is of course ripped out. Right flush with
the motor.

Of course. Of course. I must have snagged it with the jack somehow.

Someone say something nice about this one. I am disgusted.
