Tnx, Joel for the heads up:  I'll take a look, just been going by the 
fact that the red "charge' light is on when it's plugged in.  IIRC,  it 
should go to green when the batt is charged and this never does.

So maybe play a little, but I do like the B&D better, easier to use for 
the trimming I do.  Main mower is a John Deere E90.
