As an added note.... in the past I had mentioned a local Toro dealer with a "junkyard" of Elec-Traks and he was trying to sell the pile as a whole. I just called he still has most of the pile. Someone had replied to me that they were interested in it... but I dropped that email... reply again please.

The good news is that this Peerless transmission was fairly widely
used and you should be able to find parts. I carry a whole spare for
mine - didn't cost much.
