Re: (ET) GE-20 Transmission Oil Specs



YAH the synthetics are in newer vehicles.  With newer type seals designed
for it.  But our 30 yr old rubber seals don't like  it at all.  Tried a
synthetic and had that 'synthetic lube seal problem'  with a 94 Ford 3.0 
and it took 2 oil changes and a couple cans of seal renew to get the rear
main seal back to working again.  My driveway will attest to the fact
that the stuff is not good for everything especially older things.
