A chemist would call that horsepower 'Quant Suff'  in my case.  EV racers
wouldn't - just saw a movie of the EV drag racing down at Hagerstown MD
and to them,  1000A drawn from a 300 or so volt pack is not enough.  
There was a rail type in that movie and when the light flashed to go,
that darned thing was just quietly *gone*.
