Well, one way would be to CAREFULLY disassemble the other motor.Take note of which brush is in what location in relationship to a particular field magnet. Of course,another thing that might help is to use a magnet with marked poles to determine the polarity of the field magnets.If the test magnet is pulled to the field, the polarity is opposite. The reverse is true if bucking is observed.
