That is an interesting question, Chris, since I started using the et to 
till up the garden instead of plowing with the big tractor the soil has 
gotten really light and "fluffy".  My footprints are probably about 4" 
deep.  Before the soil was getting harder and lumpier no matter how much 
I disced and dragged it.

On your lawn, how short do you cut the grass ?  IMHO it makes a big 
difference in how it grows.
