I have a sweeper too. I tried it for a leaf clearing few years back, but
was disappointed. First, the ground here is way too uneven, and the
sweeper
tended to throw up hunks of turf and leave ugly bare spots on the ground.
Second, with all the leaves we have (3 acres and countless trees), it
filled
up so fast with loose leaves that I spent more time running up to the
compost heap and dumping (a real pain) than I did sweeping.

Gotta mulch down those leaves. After trying a B&D handheld electric
blower
/ vacuum / mulcher on vac and finding that it too WAY too long, I've gone
back to a mixture of hand raking, and mulching with the B&D push mower and
its bag.

Maybe what I really want is a vacuum / mulcher for the ET, but I don't get
the impression that they're easy to come by, or very affordable when they
do
show up.
