Re: (ET) E-12 switch panel removal

Is it plastic?

The one on my I-5 is. I never did figure out how to get it off.
I think it is attached to the lower panel at the fold, i.e. the upper and
lower panels are one piece. If so, then the only way to get it off is to
first remove the steering. I'm not going there. Or maybe cut the seam. If
I had a junk body (tractor, not me) I'd destroy it just to see what magic
holds that panel on there. But, I don't.

Subject: (ET) E-12 switch panel removal

Before I break something, will someone tell me the easy way to get the
small
upper panel loose on my E-12? This is the panel with the switches,
headlights, etc. I removed 4 6-32 capscrews and the panel seems to be
glued.
Is something else holding it. Access to push on it from the front is
impossible. Thanks for any help.
