Re: (ET) Small frame tractor questions

Title: Message
At least 100 A especially since the PM motor is just "thrown across the line" with no starting resistance present.
As far as the diode, whatever RadioShack® still has on the shelf will work just dandy. One , three or ten amp silicon diodes will work just swell . Just make sure that the PIV is somewhat greater than 36 volts, you'll be good to go.

Subject: (ET) Small frame tractor questions

I know most of you run the large frame tractors, but hopefully someone with experience with the small frames can answer my questions.

What is the current rating on the 'L Contactor' used as the main motor control?

What are the spec's and or rating of the diode used between the PTO switch and the PTO relay (seems mine is in very small pieces now)

Thanks
