I think this bounced the first time...
The sealed bearing that are available now are MUCH better than the OEM's.
I remember arguing
with Bill Gunn about how much better they were roughly 10 years ago. They
can take under water
for extended periods. Bill later started selling the sealed ones too.
Eventually, RUST is an
issue on the motor's internals.

Just the front end was submerged. Mower deck completely underwater.
Couldn't get enough traction to pull out.
My other Etrak couldn't even pull it out (tires spinning in the mud). It
was over an embankment.
Had to use my neighbors 4 wheeler, had to wait for him to get home, that's
why the mover was under for so long.
