RE: (ET) Winch alternatives!

Title: Message
I have one of these I'm thinking of using but my concern is with the satelitte actuator there is no flexible linkage in the system.  Any sudden impact/jarring/load is transmitted to the actuator.  I can't emagine the actuator designers took this into consideration.  My thoughts are to attach the actuator via a set of rubber isolation mounts (submarine pipehangers) to protect the actuator internals somewhat.

Any thoughts?

Bob Kleinbrahm, do you use these actuators for down-pressure on the tiller or blade?

An alternative to a winch can be seen on et forum under Satellite Lift.  I have use these for both front and rear lifts for dozer and tiller attachments.  Nice thing about these is that they are 36 volt untis and tap batteries equally with smaller wire gauge/less amps drawn.
