Re: (ET) water - should be STEAM Distilled



I thought all water sold/labelled as 'Distilled' had to be 'steam
distilled', but I guess not, because I read an article in Home Power
magazine (or someplace like that) where they mentioned that you should
always look for the words 'Steam Distilled' on the label.

This implied that there are other ways ?  Or that there are unscrupulous
vendors ?

I buy it at Wal-Mart - a few gallons at a time.  Cheap.
Also, proper type to wash top of batteries.

Articles I have read suggested NOT getting water/baking soda cleanin 
mixture
anywhere but sides or bottom of battery cases, since a little baking soda
goes such a long way toward destroying a battery, if it gets inside.
