I just got a Curtis P45 WigWag throttle. It is basically a self centering 
5K
pot, centers at 2.5k. It is a neat little package and may have applications
for input on your controller board packages.  It is made for this type off
application so if you looking for this type of controller input device or 
to
trying to make one, it is a solid option.
