Fw: (ET) E10 M steering problem, for sale?

I have an E10M I bought new in about '73. On mine, there is a coupling
attached to a bar which moves the steering assembly. It slips on the lower
end of the steering wheel shaft. It is secured by a set screw. This has
periodically required tightening the set screw on a slight flat on the
steering wheel shaft. It could exhibit symptoms like you describe if
somewhat loose. If there is one on your unit, check that first. It usually
requires tightening while working the shaft back and forth slightly.
