(ET) 12M deck questions

Anyone found a neat way to get the deck on and off the mower (not that I
want to do it very often)?  Slid it under, on the grass, but maybe there 
are
better ways?

2.  Is the lift mechanism supposed to be cables, or are the chains that are
on there correct?

3.  Looks like I may need to replace a couple of the swivel connectors on
the ends of the support arms.  Are these or something similar available
generically or do I need ET parts?  Anyone have good used ones--or
new--available?
