Re: (ET) power accessory trigger switch

Hi Mike,
Thanks for all the info on the switch.  Tried numerous internet searches but did not come up with this switch.  Will take your advice and get on the phone Tuesday to a two industrial tool places around here.  If that doesn't work, I'll try taking the switch out and taking it to these places.
If you can think of anything else, please let me know.
Regards,
Zack

Zack,
The old Power Unit model D1TM 3 was made by GE Housewares group.
It is now Black & Decker. Might be worth trying old appliance repair stores.
The switch was part number XM25X706.
Look for a DC rated switch at least 7 amps, according to the dealer's manual.
Switch failures on battery operated tools are common, good DC rated switches are expensive.
Try a industrial tool repair shop, look at Skill or Miller's Falls drills switches.

Recently got the power unit accessory with grass trimmer but the switch was sticking in the on position.  Tried lubricating and repositioning but now its off both if released and if pulled in all the way.  I have to find a small middle position to operate it.
Would like to replace the switch but don't know how find the right one.
Does anyone know where to get these trigger switches and how to identify
them?
Thanks,

PS Am looking to buy a cultivator/weeder attachment if anyone wants to sell.
