Re: (ET) EAA Cookout

Very kind of you to offer. Didn't say when though! I'll be way out of town for a while, but if we're talking second half of August, I'd consider it. If we could get a bunch of people to commit, I'd haul my E-15 with loader for a show. I also have a couple of these old walk-behind Gravely two wheel tractors I use to cut brush, and there is a very active user group that has an annual swap meet and show. Last year it was near Rhinebeck NY. This year I think Ohio. In any case now that our major ET parts supplier has gone away, we might want to think about how we can communicate better and trade ideas and parts. An annual swap meet/picnic that travelled around the country (or two- an east/west division) might be an answer. The Gravely folks do it at a county fairgrounds in partnership with some other event like a tractor pull/ antique tractor show. Hey - if we tagged on with them, it would really cover the range - old stationary engines, antique tractors, tractor pull, two wheel walk behinds, and electric tractors! But it would be affordable booth space, and those kind of events do draw some spectators and local owners.
Again thanks for the invitation!

  Hi Electrackers;

   A bit off topic, but I couldn't resist. I know there are a lot of
Electrackers in the East Coast area. A hellova lot more than On Road guyz,
of which I've devoted most of my time. Just getting into Electracs, bought
an Altrax controller to get started with my collection of dead tracters.

  Getting to the point here. Having a Cookout at my place in Killingworth
CT
for the Electric Auto Association ika, EAA in the subject line. A buncha
Electrackers would brighten up the gettogether, so if ya wanna hook up with
the on road crowd, come on out. bring all the tracters ya want, plenty of
charging available.

    Seeya?
