RE: (ET) Controller Needed?
Perry, that's basically what relays & contactors are; high-current remote
switches. Switches that can
handle 100 amps are big, so we remotely switch them as relays. A low
current switch near the dash turns
on a big one, at the right time, in the right sequence, elsewhere. The ET
is really all switches. Unless
you get a new controller, and then you have another story.

Subject: (ET) Controller Needed?
I am not an electrical engineer, so please be kind if this is a stupid
question.
Why is a controller needed at all? Can't on just hook up switches and such
to:
Turn to Drive power on.
Set reverse.
Throttle.
Etc.?
Has this been tried by anyone?
(I have an Alltrax controller, so I was just curious...)
