RE: (ET) Bill Gunn going out of ET business
Some of Bill's frustration is he is a 'free' asset of info, with only
modest profit for parts.
This isn't unique. I had suggested some options to him about 2 years ago.
I don't buy all that
much from him as I usually fix it myself. I suggested PayPal, but he
'heard' that people lost
money on it all the time. I suggested an online price list... he claimed
it was too much trouble.
What he needs is help; I know someone with a similar sized business that
pays what I think is a
whopping 25% (too much in my opinion) to keep a web based price list and
do all the actual buying
and selling, checks, PayPal, shipping, etc. I think that would increase
his sales, and improve his
time. But I don't think he is amable to that idea, as my smaller
suggestions fell quickly by the
wayside.

Subject: (ET) Bill Gunn going out of ET business
Was very sorry to hear from Bill Gunn this morning that this will be the
last week that he will take orders for ET supplies. He says his costs
for storage etc. make it too expensive to continue. If you know you
will be needing anything, I suggest that you call him ASAP.
