RE: (ET) Mower deck motor
I've been selling some 18Vdc motors on Ebay that would work fine at 36Vdc.
I haven't tried it on my E-15 yet, but after taking one of the motors off
the deck
last night in the snow, I probably will.
I broke 3 of the bolts holding the motor to the deck.
I had to grind off the blade.
Now I have to figure out how to pull the piece off the motor shaft
that holds the blade. Is that piece pressed on?
I measured no load current at 20Vdc, it was 1.5Amps.
I'm going to replace the bearings to see how much this
current drops.
