Re: (ET) E20 now dead

Here's a start:

First, sounds like you have a bad disconnect. It is not uncommon for the
disconnects to be marginal or no contact when engaged. I understand Bill
Gunn has a better replacement. If the disconnect is bad the charger can
still power the system (not lights or lift though) , but will not charge
the
batteries. You can't do a whole lot more 'till that's fixed. You can take
the disconnect apart, cleand it, and fuss with it, which I've done, but
it's not really worth it in the end.

What happened to make it not run at all is hard to say.

I would get out the voltmeter and schematic and start walking thru things:

Does the charger work with disconnect off? If not, then fix that. Sounds
like something happened to the charger from your description. There is a
good troubleshooting guide for the charger in one of the manuals.

Do the lights work? That checks out part of your battery pack and wiring
(doesn't go thru disconnect).

Once the disconnect is working:

- Does the lift work? That checks out most of the rest of the battery pack
and more wiring.

- Does the PTO relay click? that checks out the battery pack, and part of
the control board.

- Does the motor run? Forward, reverse, steps? Each checks out another
piece.

Good luck, walk thru it and ask questions along the way.
