(ET) new Elec-trak list system

As previously advertised, the Elec-trak list is now maintained by
mailman.  You should have already received an e-mail welcoming you
to the list and giving you a password.

You can manage your subscription by e-mail or using the web.  To
subscribe by e-mail, send a message to
elec-trak-subscribe cosmos phy tufts edu.  To unsubscribe, send to
elec-trak-unsubscribe.

To use the web, go to
https://cosmos.phy.tufts.edu/mailman/listinfo/elec-trak and give your
e-mail address and password.  Unlike other mailman-maintained lists,
you will not get your password sent to you every month.  You can get
it sent to you on request, however.  You will probably have to tell
your browser that it's OK that we have a certificate it doesn't
recognize.

Unlike Yahoo, I am not doing anything to conceal e-mail addresses.
That has the advantage that you can send a personal reply to anyone's
old message without going through a run around, but it does mean that
spammers can see your address.  If this poses a big problem for you, I
will delete your address from the archived messages, but I don't have
any way to delete it from messages that are posted in the future.
