Note the warning on the low cost unit, "Not for use in high-dust, vibration
or moisture environments." The other high dollar ones are encapsulated to
protect from the elements. Other than that this looks like a great find!

I was poking around JC Whitney and found this 36 volt
to 12 volt converter. There has been some talk
recently about the balancing the draw between all
batteries on our tractors (for accesories). It also
does 24 volt, 36 volt, and 48 volt to 12V.
