Yeah, I think everything above the E12 and E12S uses dual belts. I had the
same problem with my E12S and considered changing to dual belts, toothed
belts, or whatever. In the end I tightened the belt up REAL tight and it
works fine now. If your belt has been slipping for awhile it may be glazed
and will never bite very well. I'd tighten the belt and if that doesn't
work, try a new one. I think the setup is somewhat marginal, but I think it
is also adequate.
